Go on eBay and search for "New Old Stock" or "NOS". You'll find a ton of brand-spanking-new classic models from the 70's and 80's for mostly reasonable prices. That !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! at the top is about $80, as is this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

This green faced Timex Carriage was brand new and it cost me $14.99. I don't know how old it is but searching for the model number online turns up nothing but the listing I bought it from, so it's at least pre-internet.

It's almost too nice for an everyday wear. I think I'll keep it as a dress watch.

NOS is always great. Oppo is in a bit of a watch mood today, considering posting my small collection.

Some beautiful examples. Just received my Special Edition James Bond Golfinger watch from Swatch today from a seller in.. Slovenia.
I know next to nothing of watches, and this is only my second ever. The first that I've bought. Happy with it though, as it doesn't have any obvious "007" markings. Satisfies my fanboy fix and it won't be called a children's watch! Photos from seller.

My requirements for a watch are simple: Not too big, not flashy, and I have to be able to wash my hands with it on. That third one kills a lot of nice options for me. Leather bands are pretty much a non-starter.

I've been looking into buying a watch. I'm kinda partial to these though.
